Where is the session taking place? All our appointments are remote. We use Microsoft Teams and after you complete your booking, you will receive an invitation to join a videoconsultation at the chosen time and date.
-
What is the duration of each session? All our sessions are planned for 1 hour. Usually, assessments can take from 1h to 1h30. Follow-up appointments last from 45min to 60min on average. We can take your progress and personal needs into consideration, and adapt the duration accordingly.
-
How many sessions are required?Typically, you will need 4 to 6 sessions.
-
Can I have someone with me during the sessions? It is important to have support from a partner as this might affect their routine as well. You can bring someone along, as long as it is your choice, and you (the patient) are in control of the session. This is not necessary, and most patients attend the sessions on their own.
-
What happens if I miss the session? It is important to ensure your availability throughout the course of therapy before booking and commencing. Therapy is scheduled at optimal intervals and it is important not to adjust these intervals, if possible. We do however recognise that situations can change unexpectedly. We will reschedule booked sessions with a minimum of 48h notice. If due to exceptional circumstances, you have to reschedule within this 48h we will do our best to accomodate your request. However, it may not be possible to reschedule within an appropriate time frame. If a suitable appointment is not available, or if you fail to join the session as scheduled without advising us, no refund will be issued for that session.
-
What happens if I don't complete my prepaid therapy course? If you choose to terminate your therapy course early, we will charge for each session delivered at £190 per session and refund the balance.
-
Should I continue to take my usual medication? You should continue to take your prescribed medication until advised otherwise.
-
Should I fill in my sleep diary for every session?Yes, this is a very important tool used during your therapy sessions. The sleep diary is helpful to track progress and improvements.
